Ohio State Alumni mentoring program for
Glenn Fellows in Washington, D.C.
The OSU Alumni Mentoring Program affords students an opportunity to learn from experienced policy professionals while gaining a better understanding of career paths, development of professional skills, goal setting, and business practices in Washington, DC. The program is designed to enrich the experience of the Glenn fellow by creating an environment conducive to maturity and professionalism, and the opportunity to begin building a professional network. Mentors provide students with advice and development enabling them to channel interest into definable career goals, learn from advice and experience, and gain insight about the environment in Washington, D.C.
Mentors meet with their mentee at least twice throughout the quarter at events hosted by the Glenn School’s Washington Office. The program encourages students and mentors to get together at other times in addition to those events, but it is not required. We are always looking for new volunteers to become alumni mentors.
If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Joe Sadek at sadek.4@osu.edu or 202-403-8537.
