baddenJarrod Baden is a fourth-year studying Journalism and Public Affairs. Currently, Jarrod works as an Office & Event Intern for Ohio State IMG, where he assists with a variety of marketing and promotional opportunities for Ohio State athletics. Jarrod also volunteers at the Hillel Ohio State Wexner Jewish Student Center. This summer, Jarrod is interning in the Office of Senator Sherrod Brown.




bradleyJacob Bradley is a rising senior double majoring in Public Affairs and Geography. Jacob currently serves as a Presidential Host in the Office of Commencement and Special Events, where he represents Ohio State to potential donors, public officials, media representatives, and other guests of President E. Gordon Gee. Jacob also is involved with Undergraduate Student Government as the Director of Health and Wellness. Jacob is interning in the Office of Representative Bob Gibbs.




clapperAaron Clapper is a rising senior majoring in Public Affairs with a minor specialization in Political Science. Last year, Aaron served as a Communications and Community Organization Intern for Equality Ohio, where he facilitated weekly volunteer events and managed social media and communication outlets. A member of Delta Sigma Phi, he serves as the Campus Activities Chair. This summer, Aaron is interning at the Human Rights Campaign.




D'AngeloEric D’Angelo is a rising senior honors student double majoring in Russian and International Studies with a specialization in Security and Intelligence. Eric was one of 30 students selected to study intensive Russian at The International University in Moscow last summer. He also is the co-founder of the Security and Intelligence Club, a group that promotes discussion of current national security issues. This summer, Eric is interning at the German Marshall Fund




DeptolaMatthew Deptola is a rising senior studying Public Affairs with a specialization in Non-profit Management. Matthew is currently a Producer’s Assistant at Raising Green Production, where he researches and organizes client donor information and history; he also maintains content for the company’s website and social networking outlets. Matthew is the President and Founding Father of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, Alpha Iota Chapter. This summer, he is interning with the Charles Group.




GattermayerRachel Gattermeyer is a senior studying International Studies and French. Rachel studied abroad in Dijon, France, at the University of Burgundy last year, where she enjoyed an intense experience of French language and cultural immersion. Rachel currently works as a Student Assistant at The Ohio State University Archives, where she assists visitors with handling university materials. She is interning at the Library of Congress.




GerberNora Gerber is a rising senior studying Public Affairs and Spanish with a specialization in Community Organization and Civic Engagement. Nora studied at La Fundacion de Ortega Y Gasset Center of International Studies in Toledo, Spain, in 2012. In addition, she serves as Lectures Committee Project Leader for the Ohio Union Activities Board, where she implements and markets planned events for Ohio State Students. This summer, Nora will be interning with Marathon Petroleum Corporation




HoruathLenáe Horvath is a senior majoring in Public Affairs with a minor in Public Health. Lenáe has extensive customer service experience, both as an associate at Panera Bread and as a Sales Associate at Gap Outlet, Inc. This past year, she volunteered as a soccer coach for middle school-aged girls. This summer, Lenáe is interning with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention




HoustonAubrey Houston is a fourth-year studying Public Affairs and Nonprofit Management. Aubrey has worked as a Medical Outreach and Referral Intern for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Columbus, where she communicated with families and medical professions regarding wish inquiries and referrals. She also is involved with Buckeyethon Student Philanthropy, where she serves as the Steering Development Chair. This summer, Aubrey is interning with the Red Cross.




KrupaElena Krupa is a fourth-year double majoring in Chemistry and Security & Intelligence. Elena has extensive work experience with the Ohio State Chemistry Department, where she worked as an Organic Chemistry Lab Assistant and a Demonstration Lab Assistant. In addition, she was one of ten students selected to attend the Nuclear Forensic Summer School program sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security in 2011, where she received valuable experience with nuclear detection equipment and forensic applications. This summer, Elena will be interning in the Office of Senator Rob Portman.



LachmanJoshua Lachman is a senior studying History. This past summer, Joshua completed history classes abroad at Richmond, The American University in London, where he resided among London’s historical sites and cultural facilities. Joshua also has research experience dealing with census tract data in Franklin County, Ohio. He is interning in the Office of Representative Tim Ryan.




skaggsTravis Madden is a rising senior honors student studying Economics with a minor in Public Health. Travis was an intern for U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown in 2011, where he communicated with constituents and coordinated daily office operations. He also is involved in Undergraduate Student Government, where he served as a South Campus Senator in 2011-2012 and the Director of Health & Wellness in 2012. This summer, Travis will be interning at the Normandy Group.




MidkiffAdam Midkiff is a junior double majoring in International Relations and Political Science. He is involved with Undergraduate Student Government, where he serves as a Student Life Committee Representative. This past fall, Adam served as a Field Organizer Intern for the Ohio Democratic Party. This summer, he is interning with the Council on Competitiveness.





NardoAlexandra Nardo is a senior studying Political Science with a Public Policy minor. She currently serves as a Team Organizer and Researcher for the Ohio Student Education Policy Institute, where she has completed research projects on teacher retention and school accountability in Ohio. Alexandra has led a Buck-I-Serve trip to Belize, where she distributed donated shoes to school children. This summer, she is interning at the U.S. Department of Education.




NauasNoah Navas is a rising senior majoring in Public Affairs with a specialization in Urban Policy and Management. Noah currently works as an Office Assistant for the Fraternal Managing Association, Inc. where he coordinates food delivery, inventory, and orders to fraternities. He is fluent in Spanish, and served as a General Camp Counselor for Enfocamp in Andalucía, Spain, during the summer of 2011. This summer, Noah is interning with Ohio State’s Office of Federal Relations.




PiperNathan Piper is a senior studying Public Affairs with a minor in Economics. Nathan currently works as a Page for the Ohio Senate, where he conducts constituent outreach and researches legislation for Ohio Senate President Keith Faber. Nathan also participated in a Buck-I-Serve trip to Pensacola, Florida, where he worked in housing construction with the Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. This summer, Nathan is interning in the Office of Representative Steve Stivers




stuhldreherJennifer Stuhldreher is a rising junior studying Political Science with a specialization in International Policy. Jennifer serves as a member of the Leadership Core Team for the Newman Center at Ohio State, where she leads and coordinates all aspects of Liturgy for the church. She also is an active member of Delta Zeta Sorority, where she has participated in numerous Greek Life volunteer projects. This summer, Jennifer is interning at the National Parks Foundation.




wranskkyLauren Wransky is a senior double majoring in Psychology and Public Affairs with a specialization in Non-Profit Management. Lauren is a 4-year member of The Ohio State University Athletic Band as a trombone player. She also was a member of Chimes Junior Class Honorary. This summer, Lauren is interning with a non-profit called Lungevity.
